UC Dancers Study Break 

We are looking for dancers and choreographers for our upcoming winter show!

Date: Nov. 19 (Monday) 

Time:  7:30 - short class 

Venue: BARS 

8:00 - preview of Cabaret piece by UCD Company 

8:10 - improv session, a cappella cover by Mark Ocampo 

8:15 - food 

Feel free to come to any or all of our Study Break!!

Audition for the winter show will be on the following Monday, Nov. 27 

First Company Performance

Please come and support the Company's first performance at the Logan Cabaret Series this Friday, Nov 9, at 8pm in the Performance Penthouse! We will be debuting a new piece that we have been working on for a few weeks now. See the post below for more details about the event. 

The UCD Company is a small performing group that was formed earlier this year in an effort not only to increase our RSO's presence on campus but also to create an environment for artists to share the experience of choreography and dance.

Autumn's Class Tomorrow!

Need a break from midterms? Autumn Eckman will be teaching another contemporary jazz class tonight at BARS from 9 to 10:30pm. This is free and open to everyone so please spread the word.

Autumn Eckman will be teaching another class tomorrow at BARS from 9 to 10:30 pm. Please spread the word! 

Master Classes by Autumn Eckman

There has been a slight change in the schedule for this quarter's master classes. Autumn Eckman will be teaching her first class next Wednesday, October 24, at BARS from 9 to 10:30. Some dance experience is recommended but definitely not required.

This will also serve as an alternate company audition for those who missed the one this Monday. Please make sure to arrive 10 minutes early if you do plan on auditioning.

Company Audition

We are having our first-ever Company Audition this Monday, Oct. 15, at BARS from 7:00 to 9:00pm. 

We are looking for talented dancers willing to commit to the UCDancers team. The auditions will consist of a warm-up and several center routines. Members of the team will be given the opportunity to choreograph for our winter show and will be expected to perform in each other's pieces.
